Yesterday we went on a tour from Tirana to the city of Ohrid in North Macedonia. It was a wonderful and very comfortable experience, with an amazing guide named Anest. He was extremely attentive and answered all of our questions. We really appreciated how well-planned and thoughtfully designed the route was, down to every detail. The views of Lake Ohrid and the surrounding mountains were especially breathtaking. We traveled all the way around the lake, both on the Albanian and Macedonian sides. On the way back, we also visited the Monastery of Saint Naum, which has an impressive history and a truly special atmosphere. We absolutely loved the tour and would give it more than 5 stars if that were possible 😁🌟 Our guide made this experience truly unforgettable.

Unsere Reise beginnt in der historischen Stadt Ohrid, deren bezaubernde Straßen die Zeit fast stillstehen lassen. Berühmt für ihre 365 Kirchen, die Einflüsse von der römischen bis zur osmanischen Ära zeigen, bietet Ohrid atemberaubende Aussichtspunkte, antike Burgen und ein reiches kulturelles Erlebnis.
Anschließend fahren wir entlang des malerischen Seeufers zum 1.200 Jahre alten Kloster Sankt Naum. Dieses architektonische Meisterwerk steht als Zeugnis dauerhafter Schönheit und Geschichte.
Beim Grenzübertritt nach Albanien machen wir einen Halt im Drilon-Park, einem ruhigen Rückzugsort, wo der Drilon-Fluss sanft in den Ohridsee fließt und ein friedliches Ökosystem mit Schwänen schafft.
Unser endgültiges Ziel ist die charmante Altstadt von Lin, die auf einer Halbinsel am westlichen Ufer des Ohridsees liegt. Mit ihren mittelalterlichen Häusern und dem atemberaubenden Ausblick vom Berg Qafe Thane bietet Lin einen malerischen Abschluss unseres Abenteuers, bevor es zurück nach Tirana geht.

Nationals of EU Member States and countries in the Schengen Area can enter North Macedonia with a passport or ID card. No visa is required.
Citizens of non-EU countries holding permanent or temporary residence in an EU Member State also do not need a visa, provided they carry a passport with EU residence permit or EU ID card.
Foreign nationals with a valid multiple-entry visa from the UK, USA, or Canada may enter North Macedonia, as long as the visa is valid for at least 5 more days and inserted in the passport.
E-Visas (Electronic Visas) are not accepted.
You are responsible for carrying the required travel documents. If you are denied entry due to missing or invalid documentation, the agency is not liable, the tour will continue as scheduled, and you must arrange your own return to Tirana.

Wonderful and comfortable tour

10/10 – highly recommended
Beautiful day trip to North Macedonia from Tirana. 10/10 would highly recommend this trip. The spots covered during this trip are really very good and picturesque. Our guide Sokol was really helpful and informative and helped us wherever he could. Had a great time during this trip altogether!!

Lovely tour
A very relaxed itinerary, the lake was very beautiful and Ohrid was a charming town. the transportation could have been better, one of the doors was broken. Unfortunately, we couldn't go to St Naum because of the snow.

Excellent trip from Tirana to Ohrid
Great trip from Tirana, Albania to Ohrid, North Macedonia. Ohrid is very pretty with plenty of interesting history. Nolan was a very knowledgeable guide and ensured we had enough time throughout the day to stop for food, photos, rest and souvenirs. There were only two of us, but Nolan still went ahead with a private tour which was much appreciated. Would highly recommend booking this tour.
